The Boudoir Process
For your Maryland Boudoir Photograpy Session
It starts with curiosity. That little voice saying you’re ready to do something for yourself. Once you inquire, we’ll schedule a quick call to dream up your session and make sure it feels like you!
1. Inquire
You are fully guided from start to finish.
Your session begins with professional hair and makeup so you don’t have to worry about getting yourself ready. From there, I walk you through every part of the shoot.
I demonstrate poses. I adjust you. I refine small details in real time so you’re never left guessing what to do.
You’re not expected to know how to pose or “look good” on camera. That’s my job.
Most clients start the session feeling nervous… and leave wondering why they were so worried in the first place.
2. Book your session
Once you’ve decided to go for it (cue the happy dance!), we’ll lock in your session date and time. Boudoir sessions are held at 10 a.m., starting with professional hair and makeup. Your chance to relax and settle in. You’ll receive a booking link to pay your session fee, sign your contract, and have a zoom meeting so I can get to know you better. We’ll also talk through outfit ideas and I’ll help you choose what makes you feel unstoppable.
3. your session
This is where the magic happens! You’ll step into a cozy, boutique-style space filled with beautiful light, music, and good energy. You'll receive hair and makeup to make you feel like a super star. I’ll walk you through every pose and expression, cheering you on the entire way. Expect laughter, confidence, and those “holy sh*t, that’s me” moments that you’ll remember long after the session ends!
4. Your reveal
A few hours after your session, the moment that changes everything, seeing your images for the first time. Together, we’ll select your favorites and design artwork that celebrates you. Every print, album, and image is a reminder of your confidence and the woman you’ve always been.
Heirloom Boudoir Albums Designed to Be Felt
This experience doesn’t end when the session is over. Your images are something you come back to, not just because they look good. But because they remind you what you actually look like outside of your own self-criticism.
Albums and artwork are designed to last, so this isn’t something that disappears into your camera roll. It’s something you can hold, revisit, and see yourself in again and again.
The session fee includes a pre-planning phone call, wardrobe styling, complementary professional hair and make-up services., guided posing from start to finish, as well as professional retouching of all the images.
All products and images are purchased separately at your reveal appointment after your session.

It can feel that way for about five minutes.
Most of my Maryland boudoir clients walk in a little in their head, wondering what they’re supposed to do or how they’re going to look. That disappears quickly because you’re not guessing your way through anything.
I guide you through every pose, adjust you as we go, and show you what to do so you’re not stuck overthinking. By the end, most women are laughing at how nervous they were walking in.
You don’t need to show up with it all figured out. We plan your outfits together before your session so you’re not standing in your closet stressed about what to bring. Some Maryland boudoir clients wear lingerie, some bring bodysuits, oversized shirts, robes, or pieces they already feel good in. The goal is not to fit into a look. It’s to create images that feel like you when you see them.
The session fee is $550, and most clients invest between $3,000 and $5,000 on their images and albums. However, I have a variety of options, starting at $1,300.
A lot of my clients use payment plans because this is something they’ve been thinking about for a while, they just needed a way to make it work. We’ll walk through options together so it feels clear and doable, not overwhelming.

So instead of being stuck in your head, you’re focused on what’s happening in the moment. And at some point, you realize you’re not overthinking it anymore.
You’re not thrown into the deep end. We will talk about your vision prior to your session in a zoom call. Then when you show up for your boudoir session, we will start off with you more modestly, and slowly build up to the more exposed poses. This way, it feels easier, more natural. We will go at your pace, if you do not feel comfortable moving to a spicier pose, we don't do it. This session is for you and we go at your comfort level.
You probably will not recognize yourself in the way you’re used to seeing yourself. Not because it’s fake, but because you’re seeing yourself without the constant self-criticism running in the background. Most clients say some version of, “I didn’t know I could look like this.”
That’s not about changing how you look, that’s about changing how you see yourself.
This is usually the question behind all the other questions. Most of my clients hesitate because they’re used to putting themselves last, and almost every one of them says the same thing after:
“I almost didn’t do this, and I’m so glad I did.”
I’ve had clients tell me their confidence did a complete 180. That they’ve never seen themselves like that before.
